So Teen Vogue just came out with the Top Ten best dressed celebs! I decided to put my own twist on it and put them in the chronological order according to who actually DID dress the best!
Sooooo in A “particular order” according to ME…..

8 ) Evan Rachel Wood

And that concludes my humble opinion countdown of the Teen Vogue selected best dressed celebs. Marchesa sure was a popular designer! 3 of the ladies were wearing this designer. I smell a rat! Is Teen Vogue getting a pay-off from this guy?
See how Teen Vogue categorized these ladies. Its actually very different from my chosen order. What are your thoughts? We would love to have you input and comments of who actually deserved the title of #1 best dressed!
The looks for less is one of our favorite websites at bevello. They pride themselves on creatively copying celebrity looks and re-creating them for a fraction of the price!
Here are some of my favorite celebrity looks they recently recreated:
CelebrityThe look for less LAUREN CONRAD (click here)
Looks for less also does a incredibly useful section called, “Steal the Real” They find knock off versions of designer and over-my-budget expensive clothes, shoes and purses. In my opinion the knock off versions look just as good, if sometimes not better!
Check out this Steal the Real of a La Rok skirt: (Click here)
” I love the fuchsia swing skirt by LaRok, but I don’t love the price tag of $187. When I found the skirt at SSense.com, I immediately remembered (because I practically have their site memorized by now) that LuLus.com has an equally cute and colorful swing skirt for only $25. That is a difference of $162. In fact, I actually prefer the bold pink color of the LuLus.com skirt!
Full of girlish flounce, the Hot Rod Skirt in Bright Magenta will leave you one colorful cutie! This simple, lightweight skirt features a 3″ wide black elastic waistband and a bright pink that packs a punch! The skirt is loosely gathered along the waist and has comfy scoop pockets at the hips.” – thelooksforless
Bevello has another option of this steal the real cutie!!
Finish off the outfit with some black or silver sandels, mod it up with some chunky platforms or keep it low with some sassy flats like these I pulled off www.piperlime.com
Bevellonians! This post may be a little belated due to our blogging renovations (yay new interface!), but it is WAY overdue. The time has come to discuss the fashion of the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.
As most of you know, last Sunday hundreds of celebutants walked the red carpet prior to the event and donned their finest and funkiest. I’m thinking it’s time for some superlatives.
First of the night:
Best Strapless Dress:
What better place to start than the always stunning Megan Fox? This Dolce & Gabana piece fit her so well. (No comment on the hair situation.)
Most Interesting Dress:
This one goes to Miss Lauren Conrad! It took me a little getting used to, but when all was said and done I really liked this Moschino dress. And the Louboutins definitely didn’t hurt
Best Use of Side-Bow:
None other than Lo Bosworth. You can’t really tell it in this picture, but her dress has the cutest bow flopping off the side. Bows are an instant A+, a nice one from the collection of Joy Han.
Most Creative Use of a Tablecloth:
Maybe she’s just being Miley, but seriously — is this even a dress? It looked like a potato sack on her… and lets not even get into the color. C+ for effort, but the execution was a fail. Definitely not my favorite Moschino piece.
The “Have I Seen This Before?” Dress:
Oh, Vanessa Hudgens. This Max Azria gown is cute, sure…but not very striking. Try again. (The Jimmy Choos, though, are FAB.)
Best Dressed of the Night:
K-STEW! Regardless of the fact that Twilight nearly swept the awards show, Kristen Stewart looked FIERCE. That dress is so unique — great color choice. I’m pretty sure she out-shined the red carpet itself. AND, say what you want, but I love the Chucks with that dress.
Once again, MTV awards shows never fail to disappoint!
Recently, I ve been able to catch up with my DVR addictions: The Hills, Keeping up the Kardashians and The Fashion Show.
As much as I would love to admit that I sit around and watch insightful documentaries on pressing worldly issues, alas I am sucked into the world of staged reality. We all know its fake yet the ratings don’t seem to be effected by skepticism. What is it that draws us in to this TV junk food?
Just like a delicious yet sinful funnel cake. Our body definitely doesn’t need the extra calories but its so darn good you can’t stop eating it until its gone.
This is precisely the way I feel about the next season of ”The Hills.”
Ok so Lauren’s gone (tear) and now Kristen Cavalari is Back! WHAT! I think I am having deja vu here. Same thing happened 4 years ago when….Lauren left for San Francisco and Kristen took over “Laguna Beach.”
After Kristen graduated she downed reality TV saying it was fake and desperate! She apparently had better more aspiring hopes of becoming a real actress ( read about her work) .
Well looks like your fake and desperate again Kristen!
But hey, I don’t really blame her. Shes trying to get back up on the radar before her prime is over.
I’ve obviously always been on team LC since the beginning. Regardless of being on the reality TV syndicate since 2004. Lauren stays focused on staying in fashion school and working towards a career in fashion. She recently launched her own line, Lauren Conrad Collection! Not bad at age 24!
As much as I hate to admit it, even with Kristen in LC’s place I will be watching the new season. Check out the trailer:
The fashion show had a REALLY great challenge last week….SHOES !! Every girl’s temptation! They had to first design a mock up shoe for an eco-designer.
The final challenge was for the designers to choose a luxury shoe from Bergdorf Goodman and create an outfit around it. I loved this challenge because so many of us do this…. Buy an amazing pair of shoes and have absolutely no idea what you’re going to wear with them. Here’s my favorite Part of the show: (Rate the look)
FINALLY! Keep up the Kardashians! Kourtney finally dumped Scott! I always thought she was too pretty for him. He looks like such a sleazoid! And Khloe (My favorite character) found out her brand new boyfriend was cheating on her. Men act like Men even to the Kardashian sisters!
Khloe and Kourtney Start a new adventure in Miami for the summer. I will definitely be snagging up these on my DVR…. Check out the preview
The only thing that rationalizes my TV junk food addiction is that one theme is ever present in all three of these shows: FASHION!
