Do you ever find yourself asking this question?  Ok maybe not to many times.  It’s my privilege to be able to attend a Charity Auction that is very, very close to my heart.

    Life as you know it, can indeed change in one second

 Four months ago, My brother-in-Law, Bill Cherry was in a motorcycle accident leaving him paralyzed from the waist down, as well as the use of only one arm.  My sister, Julie and Bill have been happily married for 7 years with 2 little girls.  In a split second life has changed for us completely.

  Bill, a once athletic cyclist and owner of a recently opened business aspiration ”Belmont Bicycles,” has not been able to get around his own house.  Let alone feel the wind on his face from an afternoon bike ride. 

   This has been such a hard hit for my family and I and just when you think things like this can’t happen to you….I assure you, they do.  We have grown stronger as a family through the past few months. However one thing remains constant that we can not keep up with. The ever piling bills that pay for the lifestyle of a man in a wheelchair as well as the million dollars it took to save his life in the hospital immediately after the accident.

  The community of the Cherry Family has rallied together for a silent auction which is to take place this Sunday in Belmont, NC.  Several business’s have donated items, baskets and gift certificates to raise money for our families’ increasing expenses. 

  One of these businesses is the one and only bevello.  When I approached Chan about the opportunity, he responded as if it wasn’t even a question that he would be willing to help.  He has selflessly donated a $100.00 gift certificate which is to be auctioned off.

  It is of course, my honor to represent bevello at this function as well as wear one of our new to- die- for FALL DRESSES.  Yes I know, it’s a dirty job…. but somebody’s gotta do it.

  So here are some of my options: I would love some feedback on what to wear!

* Personal Aside:  Chan the owner of bevello is truly a man with a heart.  When I was going through this tragedy with my family, my other job at Forever 21 fired me for not coming to work even though I called in everyday.  Their reasoning: because it was not an immediate family member (THIS IS MY SISTER PEOPLE, MY BEST FRIEND) .

  Chan was concerned about my family and well-being and told me to take the time that I needed.  His understanding and concern is something I will always value from an honest business man.  Thank you to the team at bevello for helping me through this trying time.
